Perl - Bank Of America Credit Card Balance Checker

I've been working on creating a personal financial portal to consolidate any and all of our account balances in one place. I'd also like for it to be real time so that whenever I look at it I know it is as current as possible. To that end I have written the following Perl script that will go out and fetch my current credit card balance. It may work for other account types but I would guess some modifications would be needed. To use the script you will need to have Perl and the necessary libraries specified in the use statements installed. Also, I believe you will need to install SSLeavy to handle the encryption. The script needs to be called with 3 arguments, username, password and secret answer. In order for it to work you'll need to make all of your secret questions have the same answer since the program does not check to see what question was asked.

Disclaimer
I believe that automating access to a bank account that is your own is perfectly legal and an acceptable use of the banks website. However I am not a lawyer so use at your own risk. I have had some people suggest that this information is of dubious legitimate value and is intended to aid in hacking into bank accounts. I refute these claims and seriously doubt that using the following information would in any way help someone to hack into a bank account. Thanks for sharing although I

Thanks for sharing although I haven't been able to get this code to work. I am getting the following error:

There is no form named "verifyImageForm" at perl_boa.pl line 46

referring to this line:

my $form = $mech->form_name("verifyImageForm");

Viewing the html source of the page that form name is still valid. Anyone else having this problem?

There is no doubt that many people are interested to check their credit card balances and making this process simple is a great help for all of them. I am personally interested in this script but I do have a major concern: safety. Banks today are struggling for competitive secured software, what makes this script safe? I wouldn't want anyone else to check my balance...
